As a Building Services Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of all building services including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other critical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient functioning of these services to maintain a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure longevity of building services equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify and address issues or potential problems.
  • Management of a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped.
  • Compliance with relevant regulations and standards pertaining to building services and facilities maintenance.
  • Collaboration with other departmental managers to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
  • Development of budget plans to identify cost-effective solutions and improvements.
  • Response to any building services emergencies and implementation of contingency plans as necessary.
Preferred Candidate Experience:
  • Proven experience in building services management, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to building services and facilities maintenance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
