Digital Engineering Lead Role

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of digital engineering strategies across Ireland. This role involves building and leading a high-performing team of engineers to deliver exceptional results.

  • Develop and execute plans to connect markets and common digital capabilities, driving global outcomes through re-use and scale.
  • Manage the overall delivery of the digital portfolio in the market, from integration with core systems to successful market launch.
  • Collaborate closely with local stakeholders, including CIOs and commercial heads, to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive industry best practices in a global engineering capability, ensuring a balance between local backlog delivery and global re-use and collaboration.
  • Own end-to-end local finances of digital deliveries, managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Build and lead a capable and empowered team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve goals of innovation, speed, and efficiency.

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a proven track record of managing complex customer and stakeholder engagements. A strong understanding of technologies, processes, and architecture is required to deliver high-quality digital products at pace.

A deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including multiple delivery methodologies, is essential for success in this role. You will also need to have the ability to mentor, motivate, and shape high-performing teams.
