We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the administration of our Time Management System, which is live on all sites.
This role involves facilitating the calculation of wage payments based on TMS readings and assisting with the weekly processing of payroll for over 1,000 employees.
The Payroll Assistant will work closely with the Finance Department and Payroll Manager to ensure accurate collation of weekly payroll data, taxes, company payments, and deductions, as well as employee benefits program data.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma qualification in payroll or previous payroll experience, ideally using a TMS system for payroll and wage calculation.
The role requires strong computer literacy, particularly with time management and payroll software packages, as well as excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate collation of weekly payroll, taxes, company payments & deductions, and employee benefits program data.
- Reporting to the Finance Department and to the Payroll Manager.
- Provide monthly payroll changes and updates to the relevant outsource provider.
- Ensure payroll is processed with speed, accuracy, and within deadlines, whilst maintaining all required records and files.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
