Residential Project Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget by managing risks, contracts, operations, and communications.
  • Manage performance and budgets, aligning them with contract programs.
  • Lead design team members to achieve best value and buildable solutions, managing program expectations from planning to completion.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to site teams, resolving technical difficulties and other problems that arise.
  • Budget and plan material, plant, and labour resources, implement forward planning.
  • Oversee costing and billing to ensure projects stay on budget.
  • Ensure compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations for safe construction at all times.
  • Supervise successful completion of all Civil works on-site.
  • Produce technical calculations to high standards using current computer software.
  • Recommend and prepare technical papers.
  • Assist the Quantity Surveyor with site quantities and measures for monthly valuations.
  • Report weekly and monthly data to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners.
  • Assist the Site delivery team in maintaining project documentation and trackers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification or relevant trade experience.
  • Significant site management experience on residential projects.
  • Background in residential developments essential.
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and methodical nature are key.
  • The ability to lead, use initiative, and be self-motivated.
