This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Limerick. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll records.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for preparing, processing, maintaining, verifying, and reconciling employee payroll records, as well as collaborating with internal departments to resolve any issues that may arise.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality. If you have experience in Irish payroll processing and are proficient in using different applications and databases, including Core, Core Insight, Kronos, Workday, SAP, and ADP Global View systems, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, maintain, verify, and reconcile employee payroll records

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any issues that may arise

  • Process all payroll components, including time worked, shift differentials, sick leave, disability leave, deductions, and other benefits

  • Ensure that accurate and timely payrolls are processed for all employees

  • Maintain and analyze data, including standard working hours, deductions, allowances, and bank details

  • Assist with employee queries, including completing forms

  • Participate in projects and working groups

  • Ad hoc reporting, including monthly reporting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in end-to-end Irish payroll processing

  • Experience in Irish payroll

  • Strong knowledge of Irish Payroll legislation and regulations

  • Proficient in using different applications and databases, including Core, Core Insight, Kronos, Workday, SAP, and ADP Global View systems

  • Skilled in MS Excel, with proficiency in pivots, v-lookups, and formulas

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to completion

  • Solutions-oriented, with effective problem-solving skills
