Role Overview

You are an experienced Electrical Services Engineering professional with a passion for driving project success. With strong skills in design, documentation, and team leadership, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services engineering projects.

  • Assist senior engineers in mentoring junior engineers and guiding them towards excellence.
  • Create and review detailed design documentation, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including maximum demand calculations, cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, ICT systems, security systems, and vertical transport.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Attend regular design meetings and coordinate project work to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Produce marked-up drawings and compile project studies reports to ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with several years of post-qualification experience in design.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant industry standards, including IS10101 and ET101:2008 National rules for Electrical Installations.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership experience in design teams and a proven track record as a team player.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Dialux, Amtech, Revit, and CAD.
