Job Overview

The role holder will oversee the client service team, manage relationships, and act as a point of escalation for technical issues.

To ensure policies and procedures are followed, best practices are applied, and continuous improvements create greater efficiencies and productivity within the team.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, balancing work from home and office to match needs and role requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Final sign off on internal, client, and investor reporting to ensure accurate recording of fund activity.
  • Oversight of the client team, managing key priorities, planning work, and managing resources.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships through regular meetings, forums, and effective communication and client satisfaction.
  • Acting as a point of contact for client escalation.
  • Developing and implementing key improvements on process, procedures, and new policy changes into the department.
  • Working with development on system enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Promoting a risk awareness culture within the team to drive the zero error policy.
  • Proactively identifying gaps in internal key controls and working with wider manager/director group to close gaps.
  • Effective management of the team and all associated HR Policies, performance, and career developments.
  • Participating in training efforts, drafting and delivering training courses, and facilitating 'on the job' training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance and/or Business Related area (minimum 2.2) or relevant working experience.
  • 4-6 years Fund Administration experience (preferable Hedge Transfer Agency) with at least 2 years people management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in working to tight deadlines, multi-tasking, and working calmly under pressure.
  • Experience in Client Relationship Management is essential for this role.
  • Good working knowledge of AML and regulations impacting the industry.
