Job Title: Handy Services Manager

The role involves delivering home safety, security and handyman services in various locations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To carry out necessary adaptations and repairs within the service parameters.
  • To identify tasks that fall outside the service's scope and advise customers accordingly.
  • To conduct Ro SPA home safety assessments using an iPad and ensure accurate data collection, entry and uploading.
  • To promptly respond to new referrals, book appointments and maintain a diary of scheduled meetings.
  • To determine the nature, timeframe and feasibility of required work and complete repairs/adaptations to a high standard.

Essential Criteria:

  • A recognized qualification in carpentry and/or joinery trade.
  • Information technology skills.
  • Up-to-date CSR card.
  • Ability to work efficiently and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to find solutions for household maintenance.
  • Accurate record-keeping and data input via tablet, email/online through smartphone or computer as per data protection policies.
  • Full driving license.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Implementation of Home Safety Checks (City & Guilds).
  • Older People Safety in the Home (City & Guilds).
