Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Sustainability Lead to spearhead our environmental initiatives on a high-profile project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering and a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company's environmental measures are correctly implemented, including sustainable procurement and development. They will also raise awareness of emerging environmental issues and contribute to the development of bids for major projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of sustainable procurement and development practices
- Contribute to the development of bids for major projects
- Raise awareness of emerging environmental issues
- Develop and implement environmental management plans
- Coordinate EIAR and non-statutory environmental reports
- Degree qualified in a relevant science or environmental engineering subject
- Masters qualified in a relevant specialism (preferred but not essential)
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body
- A minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment
