This exciting opportunity will involve developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our semi-automated cold storage facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in maximizing equipment uptime and minimizing downtime through effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Screen and prioritize work orders, define job scopes, and prepare required documentation for successful execution.
- Oversee MRO storeroom operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately tracked and managed through Manager+ or equivalent CMMS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Operations, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Experience in maintenance planning/scheduling within industrial, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with semi-automated material handling systems (ASRS) and their maintenance.
- Subject matter expertise in CMMS systems (preferably Manager+) and LOTO systems.
- Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Ability to compile and deliver clear work packages for maintenance technicians, including safety and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams and with OEM vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
- Experience developing KPIs and performance metrics for maintenance execution and inventory management.
- Comfortable working in cold environments and at heights with proper fall protection.
- Ability to travel.
