Production Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our Surface Technologies Plant in Galway, Ireland. Our plant is certified in ISO13485/AS9100 standards and specializes in Parylene Coating of Medical and Aerospace products.

Parylene coatings are highly lubricious, dry film, and environmentally protective conformal coatings applied to various materials. Our coating services provide the best thin film conformal coating protection for critical components in industries such as Medical Device, Aerospace, Automotive, and Electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day production control and staff management within the Manufacturing area to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Direct supervision of shop floor personnel, monitoring time keeping, productivity, and absence.
  • Ensure team members are trained in and adhere to Quality System procedures, particularly those impacting product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate processing timings and costing to management.
  • Implement safety, health, environment, and quality requirements across the department.
  • Perform Job Hazard Analysis on existing and new processes.
  • Leverage Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and customer indicators, reduce waste, and improve processes and labor efficiencies.
  • Determine appropriate staff levels, schedules, and resources.
  • Establish cross-functional team relationships and identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Establish clear accountabilities for direct reports and motivate and develop staff through understanding, personal development, and lifelong learning.
  • Ensure department adherence to regulatory and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
  • Drive Operational Excellence initiatives within the production area and deliver high-quality functional deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with either ISO13485 or AS9100 standards.
  • At least 3 years of management experience.
