We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage Team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

The Lodge at Ashford Castle is located within the magnificent 350-acre estate of Ashford Castle, overlooking the magical Lough Corrib. Built in 1865, The Lodge offers country house charm, fine dining in Wilde's Restaurant, and a range of estate activities. It is one of Ireland's premier wedding destinations, blending warm Irish hospitality with a modern touch.

Key Responsibilities of the Bar Supervisor
  • Lead the bar service to guests in accordance with the hotel's standards and service guidelines.
  • Warmly welcome guests, ensuring your voice, manner, and behavior portray a friendly and welcoming demeanor at all times.
  • Supervise the bar team, ensuring prompt and professional Food & Beverage service.
  • Familiarize yourself with service standards, monitor adherence, and ensure staff are trained accordingly.
  • Support the team in setting up and clearing tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in bar service areas, adhering to cleaning schedules daily.
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Friendly, bubbly, and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively.
