Job Description

This is a high-level construction management position responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering projects to the highest possible quality standards.


The role will involve day-to-day management, coordination and monitoring of the site labour force and specialist subcontractors, assisting the project team in monitoring progress to meet agreed programme targets, and ensuring works are delivered to the required specifications.


Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing site activities, including labor force coordination and subcontractor management
  2. Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact delivery
  3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years' management experience, preferably within the construction industry
  • Previous main contractor experience, ideally on high-end commercial or mixed-use development projects
  • Third level qualification or trades background, with excellent knowledge of building trades
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Excellent delegation and organizational skills, with the ability to work well within a team
