Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is to provide quality engineering support in quality assurance, control, and preventative activities with a focus on continuous improvement of internal products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support supplier quality issues impacting daily operations by collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to address root causes.
  • Develop and execute initiatives and projects to enhance quality performance within the business and for our customers through data-driven decision making.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulations and standards such as US and International Medical Device Regulations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Prior experience in industry is desired, preferably in a quality-related field.
  • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies (FDA, MoH, TUV, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of risk management principles, including identifying, assessing, and controlling risks associated with product development and manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with quality concepts such as CAPA, audits, statistics, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and influencing skills are essential for representing the quality function within project teams and driving process improvements.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Represent the organization's quality department on project teams and ensure effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal, written, and oral communication and negotiation skills are critical for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary for resolving complex quality issues and implementing process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
  • Experience working in a compliance risk environment with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in software applications used for quality management, such as quality management systems and statistical process control.
