Job Title: Technical Visionary

We are seeking a highly skilled technical visionary to lead the design of innovative software solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and drive meaningful outcomes.

In this pivotal role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert, shaping end-to-end architectures and guiding their successful implementation across complex digital environments.

  • Liaise with client stakeholders and technical specialists to define requirements.
  • Interpret and apply information contained within Enterprise architecture to inform business improvement activities.
  • Ensure overall ICT architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and security and quality considerations are made.
  • Act as a subject matter expert focused on the design process and adhere to given constraints.
  • Provide high-level and detailed estimates for projects and manage risks appropriate to the contract team.
  • Identify improvements to system architecture and processes and ensure delivery of application functionality adheres to quality and governance standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrate expertise in enterprise architecture interpretation and application.
  • Provision of leadership and direction of a software development team towards a common technical vision.
  • Ensuring overall enterprise architecture coherence and security.
  • Management and delivery of multiple system modules or projects.
  • Experience in design and development of new systems and modernisation of existing applications onto Red Hat OpenShift.

Consultancy Skills:

  • Strong client-facing skills with ability to build trust and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lead and mentor fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborative team player, self-driven, and disciplined.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical architecture.
  • Experience with development of enterprise systems using open-source software.
  • Public sector experience preferred.
