About The Role

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior AI Strategist to lead our AI initiatives within our global brokerage business. This pivotal role involves steering our AI strategy, overseeing development, and ensuring that our AI technologies align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be adept at prototyping and MVP creation, possess a strategic mindset, and excel in communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences. Importantly the candidate must have an understanding of the brokerage and trading business and have worked with trading data sets.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and refine the company's AI strategy in alignment with business goals. Advise the board on AI integration, opportunities, and risks.
• Team Management: Build and lead a team of AI specialists. Foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Project Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of AI projects from conception through to deployment. Ensure projects meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prototyping and MVP Development: Drive the creation of prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to demonstrate AI capabilities to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the company's AI ambassador at industry conferences, seminars, and business events. Represent the company's AI strategy and achievements to enhance brand visibility and attract partnerships.
• Technology Scouting: Stay abreast of AI trends, technologies, and methodologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, or partnerships that could benefit our AI strategy.
• Ethics and Compliance: Ensure all AI initiatives comply with ethical standards, data privacy laws, and industry regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in AI or machine learning roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record in developing and deploying AI solutions in a business context, preferably within finance or related sectors.
    
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of AI methodologies including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.
  • Proficient in programming languages like Python or Java, with experience in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI solutions.
    
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with board members, clients, and public forums.
  • Openness to new ideas and agile methodologies.
    
• Certifications: Preferably certified in AI ethics or related compliance areas.
