Key Role: Cybersecurity Expert

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team. As a cybersecurity expert, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure systems and processes that protect data and applications.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, develop and implement security policies and procedures, and collaborate with other security teams to improve detection and response capabilities.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of security-related projects, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. You will also have the chance to contribute to the development of security tools and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and generate new insights from existing data.

The Global Services Security (GSS) team is responsible for establishing scalable security solutions for internal and external customers that drive business outcomes. Our goal is to secure the world's workloads and build a brighter future for humanity by focusing on reliable delivery of bar-raising security outcomes and investment in security mechanisms and automation on behalf of our customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Triage new incoming issues to determine the level of risk they present to our organization and prioritize remediation accordingly.
  • Participate in efforts to promote security throughout the Company and build good working relationships within the team and with others across the organization.
  • Demonstrate high capacity and tolerance for context switching and interruptions while remaining productive and effective.
  • Escalate issues to senior leadership if necessary.
  • Explore building and improving tooling to make your own life easier and share that benefit with all engineers globally.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Nationality: EU member state
  • 3+ years of experience in any combination of the following: threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security
  • Knowledge of commonly found software security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
  • 2+ years of programming experience in one of the following or similar: Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++
