Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain consultancy, you will be responsible for designing and implementing procurement strategies for government and public sector clients.
This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders. You will need to have significant experience in public sector procurement under EU regulations, ideally from a consulting background.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement procurement strategies for government and public sector clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives and project sponsors.
- Oversee the delivery of projects, manage risks and issues, and ensure projects stay on track with scope, budget, and timelines.
- Lead project teams, providing coaching, knowledge sharing, and support for junior team members.
- Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, supporting proposal writing, and helping grow our public sector supply chain consulting practice.
- You hold a degree (or professional qualification) in Business, Supply Chain, Strategy, Technology, or a related area.
- You have significant experience in public sector procurement under EU regulations, ideally from a consulting background.
- You understand category management and have experience developing sourcing strategies and applying them in practice.
- You're able to spot business opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and support successful bid outcomes.
- You bring a strategic mindset and practical experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and managing organizational change.
- You understand the key challenges facing Irish public sector organizations and are familiar with the strategies being used to address them.
