We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated bridge engineer to take on the role of bridge designer.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy, with a sound understanding of engineering principles and technical focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver conceptual design solutions for major projects from concept to construction
  • Develop structural designs using REVIT, AutoCAD, and other tools
  • Provide robust and economical solutions that meet client needs

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing bridge structures
  • Collaborating with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Providing input on commercial aspects of projects
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy
  • Excellent conceptual design abilities
  • Significant base of IT skills including Structural design software and CAD skills
  • Ability to source and use new design software
  • Independent judgement in application of engineering science and knowledge
  • High level of commercial understanding and application
  • Understanding of Irish regulatory and policy issues
