Are you a skilled leader and business developer looking for a new challenge in bridge engineering? We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join our team in Cork, Ireland. As Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a local team of bridge engineering professionals, driving business development and managing tender bids, conducting resource planning, providing design input, and overseeing the delivery of structural aspects of projects.

The successful candidate will have the potential to progress to Technical Director with support from our senior management team. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a local team of bridge engineering professionals.
  • Drive business development and manage tender bids for professional services contracts.
  • Conduct short, medium, and long-term resource planning to ensure project success.
  • Provide design input and oversee the delivery of structural aspects of projects.
  • Manage medium and large-sized projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are delivered.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external parties, including clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
Requirements
  • Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Relevant experience as Bridge / Senior Bridge Engineer, on Irish projects post-graduation.
  • Chartered Bridge Engineer (CEng, MIStructE, or equivalent).
