Ecologist Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Ecologist to join our Ireland Nature Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading ecological surveys and preparing deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications or experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of Irish habitats and the ability to secure derogation licenses.

Key responsibilities include planning and undertaking ecology surveys, preparation of tenders and ecological deliverables, client liaison and project management, consultation and negotiation with regulators and stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to a supportive and productive working environment.
