Warehouse Operative role in a dynamic environment.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop within our team. You will be responsible for the smooth running of our distribution operation, working closely with colleagues to achieve targets.

Purpose of the Role:

  • You will work within a controlled temperature environment, ensuring accurate picking and assembly of products.
  • You will strive to meet and exceed minimum efficiency and accuracy levels.
  • You will maintain and safely operate assigned equipment, including mechanical handling equipment and arm-mounted computers.
  • You will promote and adhere to health and safety protocols, taking responsibility for personal safety and that of colleagues.
  • You will follow established procedures for depot stacking, role cage, pick-by-line, and wrapping.
  • You will assist with Goods-in offloading and Goods-out loading procedures.
  • You will promote company values through daily interactions.
  • You will perform other warehouse duties as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • You will have flexibility to work hours, including weekends.
  • You will possess a strong work ethic with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in a warehouse setting is desirable but not essential.
  • You will have good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • You will be able to work under pressure and achieve targets.
  • You will demonstrate a high level of dedication and commitment.
  • You will have a valid EU passport or work permit for full-time work.

Working Hours / Shift Pattern:

  • Chill shifts: 6am – 2pm, 7am – 3pm, 12pm – 8pm, 2pm – 10pm (night shift), 7:30pm – 6am.
  • Freezer AM: 6am – 2pm or 08:00 – 16:00.
  • Freezer PM: 2pm – 10pm (Mon – Fri).
  • Shifts will operate 7 days a week on a one-week rotation.
  • Due to freezer temperatures, you will work in 1.5-hour blocks with a 30-minute warm-up break; specialist PPE will be provided.
