Job Title: Operations Manager


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our manufacturing operations, overseeing daily work plans, and driving productivity. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a sustainable future.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Ensure weekly and daily work plans are completed and targets are met or exceeded.
  • Site Coordination: Coordinate with facility personnel to secure access, information, and materials for productive weeks.
  • Team Supervision: Manage day-to-day site operations, supervising the facility labour force and any specialist subcontractors.
  • Project Scheduling: Determine manufacturing project schedule needs; support completion of project schedules, provide 12-week look-ahead, and report on site progress, flagging issues to Manufacturing Project Managers.
  • Safety and Quality: Conduct regular safety walks of the Manufacturing Facility and close out actions / endorse best practices. Conduct regular quality walks of the Manufacturing Facility and close out actions / endorse best practices.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Activities: Lead Mechanical & Electrical fabrication, assembly and commissioning activities with timely completion and follow-up on roadblocks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Utilise Project Management Systems and demonstrate excellent delegation and organisational skills. Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
