Job Description

As a senior compliance officer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on data protection matters to ensure the company remains compliant with relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate data protection advice
  • Supporting the head of data protection in managing regulatory information requests
  • Developing a positive relationship with the Data Protection Commission
  • Providing guidance on compliance obligations to facilitate new product development
  • Reviewing and amending contracts and non-disclosure agreements with third-party service providers
  • Coaching members of the data protection team on technical knowledge relating to data protection
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 5 years experience as a technical expert in a data protection environment
  • A relevant qualification in data protection or legal compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge people at all levels
