Guest Relations Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Guest Relations Manager in Galway.

Main Purpose:

  • Develop and maintain acknowledgement of all VIP guests visiting the hotel.
  • Ensure all departments are aware of all VIPs needs prior to arrival to ensure unique, memorable and personal experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish guest relations awareness programs for employees with a focus on guest preference pads and ensuring every employee is part of the guest relations team.
  • Teach and continuously energize guest relations processes and the importance of personalizing service throughout the property.
  • Maintain VIP treatment plans over the hotel and ensure they are respected.
  • Maintain amenity program offers.
  • Take ownership of all VIP stays, organizing their amenities, pre-contact, and coordinating information with other departments.
  • Meet repeat guests upon arrival and build relationships with key guests whenever possible.
  • Manage guest feedback from both online and offline channels, identifying trends and sharing information internally.
  • Set and achieve departmental goals and contribute to hotel long-term and short-term objectives.
  • Evaluate systems to identify training needs and conduct training accordingly.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure standards of performance are being maintained.
  • Communicate results to the team and plan corrective action if necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
