Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

This is a challenging and rewarding leadership opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to join our supportive team in a welcoming environment. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing care delivery, ensuring it meets the individual needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care Delivery Oversight: Ensure high-quality care is provided to residents by managing the care delivery process.
  • Clinical Standards: Drive high clinical standards through assessments, care plans, and audits to maintain excellent care.
  • Staff Support and Development: Mentor and support staff to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NMBI Registration: Registered Nurse with NMBI registration.
  • Management Experience: At least 2 years management experience and 3 years in a nursing home within the past 6 years.
  • QQI Level 6 in Management or Leadership: Hold QQI Level 6 in Management or Leadership qualification.
  • Post-Registration Qualification: Post-registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care (desirable).
