Business Development Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team and help drive growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for expansion, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and marketing materials to effectively communicate our value proposition and market position.
  • Arrange investor meetings and roadshows to foster relationships and secure funding.
  • Place bonds by soliciting potential investors in the EEA, distributing preliminary offering materials, and coordinating with investors during the settlement process.
  • Update general marketing material, including market updates, to reflect changing market conditions and trends.
  • Maintain detailed records of all relevant ILS transactions in the general market to inform future business decisions.

Key qualifications include:

  • A strong academic background and proven track record of effective stakeholder management.
  • The ability to review and understand financial management information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team and in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in structured finance, investment banking, or other related fields.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
