The Position

This role will be responsible for leading and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and capabilities within our organization. You will lead operational excellence efforts while partnering with leadership teams to deliver measurable improvements.

Your strategic initiatives will enhance operational performance and support business objectives.

  • Lead the deployment and execution of Operational Excellence strategy across the site, aligning with global and local strategic focus areas, priorities, and initiatives.
  • Foster a mature culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation at the site.
  • Buildout of Site KPI Dashboard ensuring alignment, visibility, and accountability with tiered performance management boards.
  • Support the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews with site KPI dashboard, OE, and strategy execution updates.
  • Develop and execute site strategy focus area priorities/initiatives as required.
  • Evaluate the value stream for waste, complexity, and facilitate the implementation of solutions.
  • Solve cross-functional problems using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Execute Value Stream Mapping, Kaizens & Gemba's.
  • Implement leader standard work, structured problem-solving, and 7S in the manufacturing environment.
  • Champion analytics-driven decision-making.
  • Owning Eviview CI system modules related to Operational Excellence and collaborating with vendors.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the Organization and associated stakeholders.
  • Deliver training on structured problem-solving, Yellow Belt & Green Belt.
  • Mentor site OE Advocate team members, Yellow Belt/Green Belt/Black Belt candidates, and kaizen teams.
  • Chair the site OE Advocate team to collaboratively drive the OE Site Strategy across the business and coordinate OE recognition events.
Requirements
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
  • Degree qualified with extensive experience.
  • Proven capability to operate at a strategic and tactical level of execution.
  • Strategically apply data analytics to inform high-impact Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Leader Standard Work and OE Production Systems.
  • Strong leadership with proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to act independently.
  • Pharmaceutical operations/GMP environment experience.
