About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic professionals to join our team as Social Care Assistants in residential services based in Kildare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to develop independent living skills and integrate into their communities.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or a similar qualification
* At least one year's experience working with vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities
* A working knowledge of HIQA regulations and experience adhering to National Standard policies
* Experience and understanding of person-centred care and planning
* An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported
* Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
* Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
* A full driver's license and availability of your own car is an essential requirement

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to develop independent living skills
* Assisting with community integration and promoting social inclusion
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
* Maintaining accurate records and reports
