Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:

The Production Manager will oversee the daily operations of a power generation facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant performance, maintaining compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations, and maximizing energy output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of generating assets to achieve maximum efficiency and availability while meeting company targets.
  • Lead the operations team, ensuring alignment with maintenance teams and customer instructions. Develop and implement plans to achieve defined targets in a safe, economic, and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Oversee material management, purchasing, and contract administration to ensure effective resource utilization and budget adherence.
  • Play a key role in implementing the Renewable Energy Business Management System, coordinating interfaces with customers, partners, regulatory authorities, and accreditation bodies.
  • Act as a member of the operations management team, contributing to the development and implementation of long-term resource plans and succession strategies.
  • Ensure full cooperation with all provisions implemented to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of employees and members of the public using the premises.
  • Lead and performance manage direct reports, actively participating in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of personal objectives and those of the wider team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in Steam Boiler and Steam Turbine plants.
  • Excellent people management skills.
