Role Overview

The Residential Care Worker will be responsible for promoting high standards of care and ensuring the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents are met.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Promoting high standards of care through effective leadership and collaboration with management and staff.
  • Ensuring the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents are met.
  • Working closely with the Home Manager to achieve high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of and respect for the needs of older people or those with learning and physical disabilities.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety practices within a working environment.
  • Proficiency in understanding, communicating, and writing in English to level required by duties of the post.
  • Willingsness to undertake relevant training, eg induction training, or NVQ/QCF level 2.
