Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs, with expertise in alternative investment funds and asset management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading compliance onboarding for new products, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal frameworks. They will also review and strategically code side letters to operationalize investor-specific terms across compliance and operations.

The role will encompass European regional responsibilities that the compliance team supports, including reviewing asset request forms to ensure alignment with fund documentation and investment guidelines. They will oversee daily compliance monitoring, escalating issues and supporting continuous control improvements.

The Compliance Specialist will manage restricted list governance, including trade suspensions in coordination with trading and legal teams. They will maintain and update the allocation matrix to reflect fund structures, investor terms, and policy standards.

The role requires strong governance background and familiarity with corporate governance code in Ireland, including Board of Director obligations and reporting. Experience with AML/KYC in Ireland, SFDR, Marketing and Product Governance is preferable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly and concisely, with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple demands and projects. They will be self-starters who can manage and prioritize multiple demands and projects, with ability to work independently as well as on a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in asset management sector
  • Strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs
  • Experience with MiFID & AIFMD
  • Strong governance background and familiar with corporate governance code in Ireland
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
