Regulatory Change Lead, Investment Management

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to head our Business and Technology Regulatory Change function. This role is critical in ensuring the wider business is forward-looking in its preparations to meet the evolving global regulatory landscape and changes in corporate policy requirements.

The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for engaging with key stakeholders to understand, monitor regulatory developments, and lead the business impacts assessments to ensure alignment with operational standards. You will also work with experts and stakeholders to ensure our position and opinion are communicated in response to regulatory consultations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Intelligence & Impact Analysis
    • Work with key stakeholders to monitor and understand global regulatory developments across financial services, data governance, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
    • Assess implications for business operations and infrastructure.
  • Change Management
    • Support the execution of regulatory-driven change programs across business and technology domains.
    • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  • Policy Governance & Alignment
    • Oversee internal policy change governance to ensure alignment with corporate expectations.
    • Lead engagement into the corporate policy change process to ensure our views and opinions are considered.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the key liaison with teams through direct engagement and governance committees.
    • In collaboration with other functions, communicate complex regulatory changes in a clear manner to senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Innovation & Risk Management
    • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to enhance regulatory change management.
    • Proactively manage risks associated with regulatory change, including operational, reputational, and strategic risks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory change, policy governance, or enterprise transformation within financial services.
  • Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks and technology regulations.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, project management, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Advanced degree in Law, Finance, Public Policy, or Technology preferred.
