Hotel Maintenance Supervisor Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of maintenance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

This is a Full Time position that requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Maintain and enhance the hotel's mission statement and objectives
  • Attend daily meetings and take necessary action
  • Rectify maintenance issues on a daily basis
  • Liaise with outside contractors to ensure all maintenance issues are rectified
  • Implement an efficient planned prevention maintenance system for key equipment
  • Monitor and control costs in all areas, including energy-saving measures
  • Carry out regular hotel inspections to identify maintenance requirements
  • Set up maintenance contracts with external companies and agree contract details
  • Eliminate potential risks and hazards to ensure guest safety

The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience as a Maintenance Assistant and hold a trade qualification/experience (e.g., electrical/plumbing).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience as a Maintenance Assistant
  • Trade qualification/experience (e.g., electrical/plumbing)
  • High attention to detail and standard focused
  • Able to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong communication and listening skills
