Lead Financial Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our financial management team. As Lead Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the finance team and contributing significantly to our organisation's growth and development.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance management team. With 5 years of experience in senior management, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial information in line with legislation and internal policies.
  • Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts and managing the month-end timetable.
  • Leading the annual budgeting process and coordinating year-end accounts and statutory audits.
  • Partnering with senior leadership and departmental heads to review performance and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for leading the finance management team and ensuring the effective management of financial resources. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial information in line with legislation and internal policies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and manage the month-end timetable.
  • Audit Management: Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate year-end accounts and statutory audits.
  • Team Leadership: Partner with senior leadership and departmental heads to review performance and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven experience resolving complex financial issues with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and experience with financial reporting systems.
