Job Title: Financial Services Manager

Job Description

The role of the Financial Services Manager is to oversee the financial management of the organization. This involves preparing financial reports, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Financial Planning and Management: Prepare annual budget for review and approval; produce management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, forecasts and cash flow analysis.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Liaise with the regulatory body on year-end financial statements for external audit and presentation to the board.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures for a strong internal control environment.
  • Procurement and Funding: Manage procurement processes, funding applications and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include reporting to senior management on regular basis on all financial matters, issuing reports to relevant personnel and committees, communicating changes/updates to staff payroll and pension information and overseeing coding of payments to suppliers and staff expenses.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a professional financial qualification or relevant 3rd level qualification and at least 7 years experience in a financial role with significant financial management experience. You must also have the ability to work within and maintain the ethos of the organization.
