Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Leader to join our team as Group Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished financial professional to play a key role in driving business success through strategic financial planning, management, and leadership.

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including management accounts, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly and year-end financial reports.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process across the organization.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and reporting to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor and control costs.
  • Work closely with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
  • Develop and enhance internal controls, financial systems, and procedures.
  • Lead and develop a small finance team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years + relevant experience.
  • Background in retail/FMCG/multi-company set up highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a small finance team.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, and multi-company reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Business Central and advanced Excel.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, able to guide and motivate a committed team.
  • Hands-on approach with a track record of delivering accurate monthly accounts and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills to partner effectively with senior management.
