Senior Financial Strategist

The Senior Financial Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance across key business functions. This position requires a deep understanding of the organization's overall strategy and the ability to leverage financial insights to drive growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead financial strategies, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional teams on high-impact initiatives.
  • Deliver comprehensive, data-driven monthly financial updates, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic guidance through timely and actionable insights, identifying risks and opportunities for leadership action.
  • Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and strategic success.
  • Analyze trading and operational performance to support profitability and growth.
Requirements
  • Chartered accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience in a strategic or commercially focused finance role.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced environments, preferably within retail or FMCG sectors.
  • Ability to design and implement investment appraisal and governance processes.
