Job Title: Independent Living and Community Integration Coordinator

About the Role:
The purpose of this position is to promote and support independent living and community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for service users. The successful candidate will assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of quality customer-focused and cost-effective community services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Build trusting relationships with service users to identify their goals, strengths, and needs.
* Support service users to establish and enhance their natural support circle.
* Provide accessible information on available community-based supports and facilitate access to these supports.
* Advocate on behalf of and support self-advocacy for service users in various settings.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with local organisations to build community capacity and promote inclusive communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A third-level graduate in a health and social care equivalent field (minimum Level 7).
* Experience of working with adults with disabilities.
* Well-developed people management skills with proven experience of building, leading, and motivating a team.
* Ability to design and deliver individual programmes that meet the needs, choices, and abilities of service users.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
