Project Engineer Role

This is a key role working across pharma utility projects from design through to handover.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our European Life Sciences team. This individual will lead the design of pharma pure fluid utility systems, ensure compliance with GMP and other regulations, and manage multiple projects from contract handover to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of pharma pure fluid utility systems (e.g. RO, EDI, WFI, pure steam).
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, ASME BPE, and client specifications.
  • Develop P&IDs, technical specs, and system layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Manage multiple projects from contract handover to commissioning.
  • Conduct technical reviews, manage budgets, monitor progress and ensure quality standards.
  • Oversee client communication, site planning, and contractor coordination.
  • Prepare validation protocols (IQ, OQ) and commissioning documentation.
  • Compile all project documentation for client handover.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of pharma utility systems and validation requirements.
  • Familiar with water treatment, wastewater systems, and regulatory standards.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, project planning, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
