Job Title:
Transport Operations Coordinator

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transport Operations Coordinator to join our expanding logistics team. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of key operational tasks and contribute directly to our continued growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate daily transport operations by scheduling routes, rerouting drivers, and resolving delivery issues.
  2. Function as the point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and timely deliveries.
  3. Consult with drivers via phone, email, and internal systems to manage logistics effectively.
  4. Support warehouse operations by picking and packing orders for dispatch.
  5. Operate the counterbalance forklift to unload and manage incoming parcels.
  6. Occasionally collect or deliver parcels within the region using company vehicles.
  7. Assist with general administrative tasks, including maintaining records and supporting operational reporting.

Requirements:
To be considered, you must have proven experience in airfreight exports or a related logistics role. You should also have a strong understanding of export documentation, airfreight processes, and customs regulations. Additionally, you will need to have flexibility to support both transport and warehouse functions as needed. Excellent communication and customer service skills, along with proficiency in logistics software specifically Azyra and Microsoft Office, are essential. A counterbalance forklift certificate is also required. Familiarity with international shipping and GDP (Goods Distribution Practice) is highly desirable.
