Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intellectual Disability Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing high-quality care and support in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff, monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes to medical staff, assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures, maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active NMBI registration
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • Residency in Ireland and right to work in Ireland without restriction
  • Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
  • International Police Clearance from countries lived in outside of Ireland (if applicable)
