Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Receptionist to support our operations at Ballincurrig Care Centre in Leamlara, Co. Cork.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to the Director of Nursing and wider team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and staff with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general queries efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation.
  • Support in ad hoc and regular tasks across departments.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence handling calls, emails, and face-to-face queries.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
  • Flexible and available to provide cover at short notice.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a healthcare or care home setting.
