Manufacturing Technical Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor.
This role involves directing and coordinating all technical and maintenance activities in support of production, ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, leading a high-performing technical group, and championing asset condition management through the use of new technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably with experience in a regulated industry such as Life Science or Pharmaceuticals. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Develop and implement effective methods of preventative and corrective maintenance to optimize resource deployment
- Responsible for developing and tracking departmental KPIs to measure equipment and maintenance performance
- Champion asset condition management through the use of non-intrusive testing, predictive maintenance, and monitoring
- Supervise employees, allocate work, coordinate training, and deal with issues as they arise
- Ensure adherence to Attendance Management policy and Safety procedures
- Engineering Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or recognized equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in an Engineering/Maintenance Leadership role, preferably in a regulated industry
- Experience or qualification in Reliability Engineering an advantage
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively within a team environment
