Job Title: Financial Accountant

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to transition into industry. You'll gain hands-on experience with financial reporting, commercial exposure, and direct interaction with senior stakeholders in a supportive environment.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled financial accountant to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, liaising with external auditors, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Liaising with external auditors and supporting year-end close
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Owning key balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversight of cash flow reporting and payment runs
  • Involvement in system and reporting enhancements
  • Working closely with AP/AR and payroll functions

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Newly qualified ACA/ACCA (or 0–2 years PQE)
  • Trained in a small to mid-sized practice
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts and audit files
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen
