Job Description

Financial Reporting Lead

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our specialist insurance team.

This is a high-impact role with exposure to global insurance clients, particularly in the US.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance services for insurance clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing practical accounting guidance under IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP
  • Identifying and driving improvements in finance processes, reporting, and automation
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture
  • Contributing to business development and helping shape the future direction of the team

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • 5+ years' experience in the insurance sector (audit or in-house)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance
  • Background in consulting, shared services, or BPO is a strong advantage
  • Skilled in tools such as Power BI or Excel automation is a bonus
