Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production, testing, and release plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend daily site Value Stream Boards and weekly planning meetings to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Coordinate inspection lot end dates and lead times on SAP with various business units in the supply chain to minimize delays.
  • Work closely with Production and Supply Chain functions to respond quickly to unforeseen changes or requests.
  • Liaise with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to adjust inspection lot ends dates accurately when lots are received on site, and when issues arise during production, testing, or release.
  • Monitor issues and delays against lots throughout the supply chain, perform impact assessments against the site Plan, and adjust accordingly.
  • Communicate planning changes and impact between Supply Chain and Operations functions to maintain efficiency.
  • Track progress of lots, manage KPI reporting, and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Refine the current business process for management of inspection lot end dates on SAP to optimize supply chain performance.
Requirements:
  • Supply Chain experience and familiarity with scheduling to drive efficient operations.
  • Organization skills/Project Management to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • SAP experience desirable to leverage system capabilities.
  • Manufacturing Execution Process knowledge to understand production workflows.
  • Quality and GMP knowledge/experience beneficial to ensure compliance.
  • Proven excellent communication skills/communicates effectively to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and achieve agreements.
  • Proven meeting facilitation skills in a cross-functional environment to drive discussion and decision-making.
  • Result-driven, target-oriented; demonstrates optimism and 'Can Do' attitude to drive success.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and quality principles and practices across internal and external environments.
  • Understanding for the technical requirements of cross-functional units to drive collaboration.
  • Project Management Skills/Lean six sigma methodology - Would be a plus to drive continuous improvement.
  • Professionalism and maturity required to effectively interact with senior management.
Education:
  • Degree level - primary degree in business, science, or engineering discipline.
  • 4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry & a GMP environment.
  • BSc in Supply Chain/Operations/Business/Quality.
