Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in ensuring the quality of third-party applications on new Mac hardware platforms.

This role involves testing applications across various Mac configurations, identifying bugs and reporting them effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with Apple Mac hardware and software, as well as solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

About This Role:
  • Test applications across multiple Mac configurations to identify defects and report them to the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure seamless product releases.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality of third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough application testing, including Audio/Video workflows, and validate fixes through manual verification.
  • Provide detailed bug reports, including reproduction steps and logs.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the team to ensure seamless collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • macOS Expertise: Strong familiarity with Apple Mac hardware and software.
  • QA Methodologies: Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Experience with both approaches.
  • Test Case Development: Ability to write reusable and detailed test cases.
  • Hardware Testing: Skilled in testing across multiple Mac configurations.
  • Python: Proficiency in scripting for automation and data analysis.
