Job Opportunity

This role is a key position within the organisation, requiring extensive travel nationwide due to client-led engagements. You will deliver specialist HR and Employment Law services to clients, create and present effective HR solutions, and lead complex workplace investigations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an HR role, with strong knowledge of Employment Law and its application in unionised and non-unionised workplaces. They will also possess comprehensive knowledge of Human Resource developments in Ireland and Internationally, along with exceptional administration skills and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert HR & Employment Law support to clients
  • Designing and presenting tailored HR solutions for diverse client groups across various industry sectors
  • Leading intricate workplace investigations, including Dignity and Respect at Work, Disciplinary and Grievances for clients
  • Offering informed, practical advice and guidance to clients on-site, via phone, video conference, or email regarding HR matters
  • Establishing strong relationships within the designated client base
  • Conducting thorough research on current Employment Law and HR best practices
  • Preparing and presenting informative seminars and workshops on contemporary HR topics
  • Contributing to the development of innovative compliance products and solutions
  • Collaborating with key colleagues across the organisation to meet client needs
  • Creating engaging written content and serving as a key HR contributor for our employment law publications
  • Reviewing policies and procedures for clients, providing recommendations for updates to ensure documentation aligns with legislation

Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level degree in Human Resources/Employment Law, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR role, providing HR support to managers and/or the business
  • Experience offering advice on company policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and its application in unionised and non-unionised workplaces
  • Comprehensive understanding of Human Resource developments in Ireland and Internationally
  • A flexible individual with a constructive attitude, willing to contribute to business growth to maximise new opportunities
  • Ability to research and write HR compliance materials
  • Keen interest in current HR and employment law issues
  • Excellent communication skills (business English - verbal and written)
  • Strong administration skills
  • Good project management skills
