Network Security Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to manage and secure our network infrastructure.

  • Manage the security of Cisco routers, switches, networking devices, and appliances to maintain a robust and reliable network environment.
  • Configure, support, and resolve issues with firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and maximum security.
  • Design and execute secure network architecture using Cisco Secure Access, Edge Network Security, Threat Control, and Secure Mobility solutions to protect against external threats.
  • Implement Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and 802.1X secure network access to provide authorized access to network resources.
  • Monitor and maintain network access security using Cisco ISE appliance solutions to identify potential vulnerabilities and address them promptly.
  • Deploy advanced Cisco security solutions to mitigate outside threats and secure connected devices, ensuring the integrity of our network ecosystem.
  • Provide operational support for identity and network access control, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with Cisco network security appliances and Cisco IOS software devices, applying technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in network security with a strong background in Cisco Networks and a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Umbrella, Stealthwatch, WSA, ESA, AMP for Network and End Point, ASA, NGFW, Firepower NGIPS, Cloudlock CASB, AnyConnect, ACI security, Threat Control, TrustSec, and DNA.
  • Beneficial experience with Cisco Data Center Nexus, Cloud, Cisco ASA/PIX, Cisco Secure, ACS, Cisco ACI, Cisco IronPort, Checkpoint FW-1 and NG, Juniper Netscreen and SRX, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, and Fortinet security hardware/software products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work collaboratively, and navigate ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence across multiple teams.
